Questions? Here are the ones we hear the most.

  • No. Maine Dance Medicine is built specifically for dancers and performers. Laura's clinical training is grounded in dance biomechanics, not adapted from general sports medicine. That specialization is what makes the work different.

  • The initial evaluation is $250 (90 minutes). Follow-up sessions are $200 per visit. If you're planning ongoing work, package pricing brings that per-visit rate down.

See the full rate table on our Pricing page →.

  • No. Maine is a direct access state, which means you can see a licensed physical therapist without a physician's referral. Book directly with us without a doctor visit or the delays that come with it.

  • Yes. Laura works with dancers at every stage, from pre-professional students preparing for pointe work to conservatory dancers managing high training loads all the way to professional dancers maintaining health for a long career.

If you're a parent with questions about a younger dancer, get in touch and we'll tell you whether it's the right fit.
